Workshop Summary

Fear is not a problem to solve, nor is it an indication that we’re doing something wrong if we feel it. Fear is a natural, primal experience we have in spaces that do not feel safe, for whatever reason. Fear is a profound teacher; it shows us where we are hurt and wounded, and where we lack trust and awareness. If we treat fear as a friend, it can lead us to incredible breakthroughs.

We live in a world that feels unsafe on nearly every level. Fear reflects that honesty. But it also invites us on the incredible spiritual journey of discovery what true safety is; something that lies within each one of us. In this dimension of duality, we are always experiencing polarities. If we want to know more about hot, we have to know more about cold. The opposite of fear is safety. It’s nurturing, comfortable connection. Honoring our fear, feeling it in a safe container; this is what brings us to these delicious places of connection and love that we all crave.

Let’s come together as a tribe in a safe, vulnerable container and feel, process, share, befriend, and honor our beautiful primal fears. Shamanic coach and somatic expert Faegann Harlow will lead a community of open-hearted people across the globe in a virtual Alchemy of Fear Ceremony. We will work with the element of Earth to support the grounding necessary to access the safety in our own bodies. We will connect to the elements, to our beautiful vessels, and to fearful spaces inside of us that have been waiting for love and acceptance.

The Ritual will include opportunities to speak, emote, write, and meditate on the intelligence and power of our personal and collective fire. Faegann will create a ritualistic container using ancient shamanic practices honoring these untamed emotions, creating safety for all who gather to vulnerably move through some of the stuck energies in our bodies and beings.  

We will not only acknowledge our fear, we will befriend and alchemize it. And we will make new friends, strengthen old friendships, and celebrate that we are all in this together, and we are never truly alone.
